Apple Crisp

cups peeled cored sliced cooking apples

tablespoon lemon juice

cup granulated sugar

cup brown sugar, packed

Topping
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup rolled oats or quick oats
1 cup flour
2/3 cup butter –softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup rolled oats or quick oats
1 cup flour
2/3 cup butter –softened
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a large bowl, mix sliced apples, lemon juice, both sugars,
flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Pour into a 9’ by 13’ baking pan
Prepare topping:.
In a medium bowl, with a pastry blender or a fork, mix flour,
both sugars, and butter until coarsely crumbled.
Sprinkle evenly over apples.
Bake at 375°F for 50 minutes.
