Ingredients
1 cup of fed sourdough starter
1 cup lukewarm milk or water
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp. oil
1 egg
Mix all of the ingredients. Let stand for at least a few
minutes. When you are ready to make pancakes, mix in 1 tablespoon of baking
soda mixed with 1 tablespoon of water. The batter will bubble and fluff up.
Heat a skillet to medium heat and add a tablespoon of
oil. Pour in ¼ to ½ cup of into the skillet. If you want berry pancakes,
sprinkle the berries over the top of the pancake now. If you add the berries to
the batter before now, the batter will darken with the juice. When the pancakes
begin to bubble and the edges begin to dry, flip them over and brown the other
side.
