Homemade Alfredo Sauce Recipe



 This is an easy, yet very tasty Alfredo sauce

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

1 clove minced garlic

1.5 cups cream (or milk)

1 cup fresh Parmesan

4 oz cream cheese, softened and cut into a few pieces (1/2 a block)

1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)

1/2 tsp white pepper (black pepper would work too)


Instructions

Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and cook for 2 minutes.

Add cream cheese and whisk together.

Add cream a little at a time while whisking.

Heat until bubbling, but do not boil.

Add in parmesan cheese and mix until the cheese melts.

Add salt and pepper.

Toss with your favorite pasta.

If the mixture thickens too much, add more cream. If it’s not thick enough, add more cream cheese.
